The story:
This is the first sampler I made and it was fun deciding on which block patterns to use. The backing inner border detail was very challenging and since it was a wall hanging, only a spider on the wall would enjoy it. This is the first quilt I entered in a show and I was fortunate to receive an honorable mention ribbon. Now that I am older.... I do less hand quilting and more machine quilting.

Description:
This quilt is a nine patch sampler set on point. It has a 1 1/2" inner border and a 6" outer border. The inner border is exactly repeated on the back of the quilt. It is pieced by machine but quilted all by hand. The binding is finished by hand. It has a sleeve on the back, ready for hanging.Detail images:
