The story:
I have learned to check denim carefully before using it in a quilt because it often stretches easily. Also, a heavy weight denim will make the seams difficult to quilt through or to lay flat. The quilting design in the yellow print is a free-motion flower. I made myself do this totally free-hand, and the flowers each turned out very unique. The outer flower quilting was designed by my husband and myself.
