This child's size bed quilt features bears and sailboats. The strip piecing allows the theme fabrics to be seen. It also allows for several fun and bright fabrics to be used. The outer border fabric with a small sun print is a great backdrop for the heavy machine quilting. The large suns in the border are the size of large dinner plates. The sailboats were stitched continuous line using a blue accent thread. The backing was pieced using the scrap trips from the top center. The binding was hand finished.
