The story:
It was a lot of fun finding the fabrics for this quilt. The couple that comissioned it were are very active in picking out the colors. I had picked several fabrics from my stash, found a few in my favorite quilt stores and then had them come over and pick the fabrics they liked. The bumper pad was not my favorite thing to do!

This quilt was made on commission. The quilt was being made for their first child. They were having a boy and wanted dogs as the theme. The squares were stitched 1/2 inch from the edge with a small zig-zag and then frayed. I also made a matching bumper pad.Detail images:
