The story:
This quilt has fabrics from three generations of fabric - the oldest were my Grandma Marge's. She was an exceptional quilter and did beautiful hand-turned applique. This was a big challenge to me, as I usually do machine applique. I really enjoyed sewing all the "Petals" on the quilt. This quilt is going to hang in my house.

Description:
This original quilt was a work of love. The center contains 320 1" blocks. There are 18 hand appliqued flowers, with 128 petals. The gold border really frames it nicely. The binding was hand finished. This quilt was hung in the Pensacola Quilters Guild Show in March 2006.Detail images:
