Description:
The center of this quilt is a pieced hexagon using triangles. The bright fabrics have a few bugs thrown in. It has a black accent border and is machine quilted with varigated thread. The binding is hand-finished. This quilt was donated to St. Elizabeth's Childrens Home (Indiana) for their 2006 silent auction fund raiser.
The story:
My son Logan was playing with some leftover triangles from a previous project and ended up with hexagons. His favorite is the "turquoise" hexagon in the center. My children often get squares out of my sewing closet and make tracks all through the house.
