The story:
This fabric sat in my stash for a good 2 years before the design came to me. The colors in the quilt remind my husband of the house my parents had decorated several years ago, it was done in peach. He has fondly named this quilt," The 80's are calling and they want their colors back". The center quilting design was a new design for me to use, and I loved doing it. It took over 20 bobbins of thread.

Description:
This quilt is reminiscent of the quilt laying on a Grandmother's bed. The softness of the floral Moda fabrics, lends itself to this simple but elegant design. The center of the quilt is a four-patch set on point and is finished with a scalloped border. The center of the quilt is heavily machine quilted with a "teardrop or peacock" design. The feather quilting design in the border follows the curve of the scallops. The binding is hand finished.Detail images:
