The story:
This was a donation quilt (it is now in China) for our church, done as I was learning to use my Gammill long-arm quilting machine. This panel gave me an opportunity to do some outline quilting and random free-motion designs. This was a good learning piece.

Description:
This colorful child's quilt has a center panel with a 2" inner border followed by a 5" outer border. The 5" side outer borders are a single piece of fabric while the top and bottom outer borders are checkerboard pieced. The binding is finished by hand.Detail images:
