Meggan's Quilt

This quilt was made for a dear friend of mine who was expecting her first baby. We have worked together for the past 5 years and I was so excited about the news that I started planning the quilt as soon as she knew it was to be a girl. The colors in her nursery are pink and brown. This was a new color combination for me - what fun, there are so many wonderful fabrics to choose from. The flowers in the quilt center and the border were done with a blanket stich on the machine. The machine quilting was customized for this quilt.

Puppy Love

This quilt was made on commission. The quilt was being made for their first child. They were having a boy and wanted dogs as the theme. The squares were stitched 1/2 inch from the edge with a small zig-zag and then frayed. I also made a matching bumper pad.

Prince ?

The center of this clever quilt is based on a art project done by one of Mom's grandson several years ago. The mouth of the frog folds open revealing the bugs inside. The machine quilting features lily pads, leaf fronds and water. The binding is hand finished.

Rubber Duckie

This child's sized quilt features rubber ducks in a bubble bath. The accent fabrics compliment the theme print and are pieced in a fence-and-rails pattern. It is machine quilted and the binding is hand finished.

Leap Frog

The fabrics in this quilt tend to jump right out at you. The multicolored frogs are brought to life with the bright striped accent fabric. The simplicity of the piecing allows the fabrics to work their magic. It is machine quilted and the binding is hand finished.
