What fun it is to create something special for a child. I really enjoyed working out this quilt design having a special young boy in mind. The quilting design was created specifically for this quilt.

Description:
This twin sized quilt is an original design made on commission for a young boy who loves trains. His mother gave me the color scheme but left the design open. This allowed my husband and I to have fun with the design. The ourter border is machine quilted with a continuous line train, which runs both ways down the track, hence the name "Coming and going". The binding is hand finished.Detail images:
